SHEER is an independent virtual art gallery and media platform spotlighting multicultural artists globally and expanding equity in art collecting. Through exhibitions, editorial, and partnerships, SHEER creates accessible entry points in the art world for emerging artists and new collectors and bridges culture with technology.
By sharing real stories and hosting community events and exhibitions, we strongly believe in solidarity, transparency, understanding, and connection among multicultural creatives and art collectors and lovers.
SHEER has been featured in Brooklyn Magazine, The Observer, and COLOSSAL while partnering with The Shed, Chashama, The Affordable Art Fair, The Hamptons Fine Art Fair, and The Gloria Steinem Foundation to highlight emerging artists.
Founder
Originally from East Flatbush, Brooklyn and born to Haitian and Ethiopian immigrant parents, Bianca Jean-Pierre has always been drawn to creative expression and storytelling fueled by her cultural upbringing. She is a creative strategist, brand storyteller, and art curator with 10+ years of experience spanning fashion, commerce, media, art, and tech at companies like Saks Fifth Ave, Meta, and Snapchat.
Bianca has also delivered engaging art talks and presentations at prestigious venues including NeueHouse, Camp David in Industry City, Art in DUMBO with the Brooklyn Arts Council, Feminist Camp, and Eleventh Hour Gallery.
